Leave the rehearsed pitch behind
Someone seeking help may already have heard plenty of confident claims. Listen to their concerns and describe our process in language they can comfortably question.
Bring your experience. Make a difference.
Bring your California sales experience to a team focused on the homeowner behind the paperwork.
Some of the best sales conversations start with a simple question: “What happened?” At Solar Exit California, we want people who can ask that question, understand the answer and help a homeowner take the next step.
Tell us about yourselfIf you have sold solar, you know there is more to the job than a pitch. You have explained unfamiliar paperwork, answered difficult questions and earned someone's trust at their kitchen table. Those skills still matter when the conversation changes from buying solar to figuring out what went wrong.
Maybe you have dealt with delayed commissions, changing company priorities or one too many trips away from home. Maybe you simply want your next chapter in sales to feel more useful. Whatever brought you here, we would like to hear your story.
Solar Exit California advocates for homeowners whose solar experience has not matched what they were promised. We help people facing confusing agreements, payment concerns or unresolved problems gather information for review and understand the next step. Your role starts with listening and explaining that process clearly.

Explaining documents and handling difficult conversations are skills worth bringing. Show us how you have used them to help customers make informed decisions without pressure.
Come as an individual applicant or introduce a team you know well. Tell us what you have learned and what you would like your next chapter to involve.
California has a dedicated Solar Consumer Protection Guide, and the CPUC identifies utility service areas where providers must collect customer initials and a signature on that guide as part of the interconnection process. The guide sits alongside the installation and financing documents; it does not replace the homeowner's agreement.
A household may remember an appealing monthly payment but struggle to locate the documents that explain how the arrangement works. An organized first conversation can identify what was received, what was signed and which questions remain. Missing paperwork deserves follow-up, not an instant conclusion about the validity of a contract.
Solar Exit California is looking for people who can make that conversation feel manageable. If your experience includes walking customers through unfamiliar documents, use that skill to help someone assemble their information for review. Clear explanations and respectful follow-through are central to the work.
A network built in Sacramento is different from one built in Los Angeles, San Diego or the Central Valley. Tell us which part of California you would represent and what kinds of homeowner conversations you have handled. We value clear explanations over a one-size-fits-all pitch.

We are interested in people who communicate clearly, follow up thoughtfully and care about doing right by the customer. Solar experience is useful, but it is not the only background worth bringing. If you are new to this kind of work, tell us why it interests you.
This starts with an introduction, not a lengthy application. Share a few details below and someone from our team will reach out to learn more about you and answer your questions.
We expect honest representation, respect for the homeowner’s decision and clear explanations of our service. Representatives do not provide legal advice or promise a cancellation, refund or other outcome.
